The Scottish metal "pirates" join Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valleyy
Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley keeps on adding bands to its strong line up for 2022. Already confirmed are Judas Priest, Whitesnake, Within Temptation, Running Wild, Delain, Lacuna Coil, The Dead Daisies and Freedom Call. Today was announced that Alestorm will join the festival. They will play on Friday, 15th of July, right before the headliners of Running Wild, and create a "pirate" day.
"This will be like a dream come true, for all die-hard fans of "metal piracy". We are getting ready to share the stage with Running Wild and cannot wait to meet our friends in Bulgaria and make the biggest fun-party in Mogilovo", says the charismatic leader of the band Christopher Bowes, who is also the driving force in Gloryhammer.
The last sixth studio album by Alestorm, "Curse of the Crystal Coconut" was released end of May 2020, entered the charts worldwide and with the brand new videos (http://bit.ly/AlestormCurseOfTheCrystalCoconutYT) became one of the bands most popular releases already.
The band started in 2004 under the name Battleheart, and in 2007 signed its contract with Napalm Records and changed the name to Alestorm. The debut album was released in 2008, until today the band has 6 studio albums.
The second edition of Midalidare Rock in the wine valley will be on the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of July 2022.
