The last three to join the festival in the Wine Valley
The lineup for the festival’s After Party stage will be announced in the upcoming weeks
The sixth edition of Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley will take place between July 10 and 12 this year. The headliners for 2026 are Bad Religion, Powerwolf, and Helloween. In addition to them, we’ll see some 11 international bands on the main stage. The last three to join the festival in the Wine Valley are Eclipse, Ashes of Ares, and Tidal Dreams.
Eclipse
Eclipse, the heavy rock powerhouse out of Stockholm Sweden have been making increasingly larger waves on the European and American rock scene over the last years. With stream counts in the hundreds of millions and tours ranging from South America to Australia and Japan these guys are a force to be reckoned with which festival goers of Wacken, Alcatraz, Summer Breeze to name but a few will be very aware of by now.
Ashes of Ares
Ashes of Ares is a power metal band from the United States, the band released their fourth studio album “New Messiahs” last year via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM)/ROAR. Ashes of Ares are led by vocalist Matt Barlow and guitarist Freddie Vidales. Both were formerly members of Iced Earth, which has released an impressive 12 studio albums. Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales are expected to perform songs from both bands.
Tidal Dreams
The latest band announced for the main stage is Tidal Dreams. Emerged at the tail end of 2010 in Athens with the ambition of crafting old-school heavy metal with epic scope and melodic depth. April 2016 proved to be a pivotal moment: the band won first place in the Greek round of the Wacken Metal Battle, earning them the right to represent Greece at the international finals held at the Wacken Open Air festival in August 2016 alongside 27 bands from around the globe.
