BAD RELIGION

IN BULGARIA FOR THE FIRST TIME

One of the most energetic live bands in the world opens the festival in the wine valley on July 10

For the first time in Bulgaria we will see Warkings and The Baboon Show.

Bad Religion

Californians Bad Religion are the third headliner of the sixth edition of Midalidare Rock In The Wine Valley, joining the already announced Helloween and Powerwolf. The festival in the wine valley will take place from July 10 to 12, 2026.
Founded in 1980, Bad Religion occupy a unique place in the history of punk. Formed immediately after the initial explosion of the genre, they spearheaded the birth of the hardcore scene on the West Coast, adding their melodic riffs and verbose lyrics to the basic hardcore rhythm. The band then continued to expand their style and in the early 1990s created a "neo-punk" sound. To this day, the band continues to do what they have always done - release explosive albums one after another, met with constant ovations from fans and critics.
The band has long established itself in its current lineup, which represents perhaps the most energetic version of Bad Religion: Greg Graffin (vocals) and Jay Bentley (bass) are joined by Brian Baker (guitarist since 1994), Mike Dimkich (guitar), and Jamie Miller (drums).

Bad Religion is the band that defines the Californian style of "half-pipe punk", (often also called "California skate punk" or "melodic hardcore") an energetic subgenre of punk rock that serves as the soundtrack to skateboarding and surf culture. The band did not succumb to the usual changes in trends or the widespread abandonment of values characteristic of the history of punk bands, but evolved with each subsequent challenging album against the backdrop of amazingly consistent tours, retaining their core audience and attracting the next generations of eager and energetic youth.

Bad Religion continue to diversify their composition and production, so as not to bore either themselves or their invariably large audience. They have released 17 studio albums. The band's reputation as socially engaged provocateurs cannot overshadow the fact that they remain one of the most energetic live bands in the world.

Warkings

The German-Austrian power metal band Warkings was formed in 2018, and in July last year their fifth studio album “Armageddon” was released, very well received by fans and critics.

The Baboon Show

The Baboon Show was formed in Stockholm in 2003. In 2004, they released their first EP “This is it” and began touring Sweden, quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best live bands in the country.
