VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, KORPIKLAANI AND FOUR MORE BANDS JOIN MIDALIDARE ROCK IN THE WINE VALLEY
Two of the bands come for the first time in Bulgaria
Austrian symphonic metal band Visions of Atlantis will perform on the first day of the Festival when headliners are Twisted Sister. Prepare to set sail with Visions of Atlantis, the multi-national pirate metal powerhouse bringing cinematic, epic adventures to the stage. Join the Armada and experience tales of strength, resilience and uncharted seas!".
Also, on July 10th, for the first time in Bulgaria, we will see the American hard rock band from New York, AMH (Adam and the Metal Hawks), whose vocalist is Adam Ezegelian, a finalist from the show American Idol.
The Finnish folk metal band Korpiklaani will play on the second day of the festival, July 11th. Formerly known as Shamaani Duo and Shaman. Unlike other folk metal bands that start with metal and then add folk, Korpiklaani started with folk before adding metal to their sound. The band's name translates from Finnish as "Clan of the Wilderness," and in colloquial language, "korpi" means a dark old forest.
Gloryhammer from England will be co-headliners to Helloween on the last day of the festival, July 12th. Their style is defined as symphonic power metal. Each member of the band portrays a different character, and the group has an exceptional stage presence.
Before them, for the first time in Bulgaria, we will see the Swedish sleaze rock band Hardcore Superstar, formed in 1997 with eleven studio albums to date.
The Swiss all-female power metal band Burning Witches is the last band announced for July 12th so far.
